Community

Kristy tries to stay actively involved in her community by giving back to those who support her!

Softball

Kristy has sponsored the adult  “beer league” softball team ‘Pitches and Throws’ in Port Coquitlam after hearing they did not have an adequate first aid kit or jerseys. She enjoys bringing them Spitz, water bottles, and small water guns to help them cool off. Her logo can be found discreetly on the bottom of their shirts, and they even made her one!

Hockey

She has also sponsored Burnaby’s “Fighting Hedgesparrow” men’s hockey team for 3 consecutive years by contributing to their membership fees. Kristy’s logo can be found on their helmets and pants, and once a year she brings them pizza after their game! Go Hedgesparrows!

By being a part of Royal LePage Wolstencroft, Kristy is proud to contribute to the Shelter Foundation, best explained below from the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

“Because we are committed to strengthening the communities where we live and work, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company with its own charitable foundation. The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention programs.

Every dollar raised goes directly to helping the more than 50,000 women and children who are served each year by the shelters and support programs we fund. Since 1998, the Shelter Foundation has raised $33 million and currently supports 200 local women’s shelters and national partners. Our agents donate a portion of their commissions and Royal LePage offices across Canada hold local fundraising events. Our brokers, agents and staff also volunteer and provide in-kind goods to benefit the women and children residing in their local shelters.” – From Site: https://www.royallepage.ca/en/realestate/about-us/shelter-foundation/
